THE Impact Ranking 2021

Times Higher Education’s Impact Rankings capture universities’ impact on society based on institutions’ success in delivering the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals. It provides a showcase for the work being delivered by universities in communities, and it is an opportunity to shine a light on institutional activities and efforts not covered in other rankings. It demonstrates the differences a university is making to the world. The ranking is based on the UN's 17 SDGs.

In 2019, the first year of the THE Impact Rankings, data was collected from the participating universities on 11 of the 17 goals from participating universities. For 2020, it was expanded to all 17 SDGs.
