Dear Stakeholders,
We are at a time when we are facing many challenges around the world. This process makes it increasingly clear that sustainability is not only a goal to be achieved, but also a conscious management approach that guides all activities of organizations. Sustainability is one of the greatest challenges of critical importance for the future of humanity. In this context, the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) set by the United Nations consist of 17 strategic goals that aim to create transformation at the global level.
As an educational institution and the representative of the Turkish Education Association in higher education, our university adopts these goals and carries out various initiatives and projects for a sustainable future. We aim to contribute both nationally and internationally with our work in the fields of education, research and social service, and we continue to take decisive steps for a sustainable future.
We constantly update our curriculum, organize seminars and workshops to raise awareness of sustainability among our students and provide them with knowledge and skills in this field. We are committed to supporting our young people to become leaders for social change.
Our academic staff conducts innovative research on sustainable development, develops solutions and works hard to increase knowledge in this field. Our administrative staff play a critical role in achieving our sustainability goals and ensure that the operational processes of our university are managed effectively and efficiently. Their dedicated efforts in areas such as energy and resource management, waste reduction and sustainable campus practices contribute significantly to our academic studies on environmentally friendly technologies, social justice and economic opportunities. With the joint efforts of our employees, these efforts contribute to achieving our sustainability goals.
Our university carries out various projects to strengthen its interaction with society and responds to the needs of local communities. We add value to society through projects on quality education, gender equality and partnerships for sustainable development goals.
In this process, we find the contributions of all our students, academics and employees invaluable. Thanks to the support and cooperation of all our stakeholders, we are taking firm steps towards our sustainability goals. We believe that by working together, we can achieve our goal of creating a sustainable world. We are happy to share with you the determination and excitement of our university in this regard. We hope this report will be a resource to help us evaluate our progress and set our future goals.
