Our Sustainability Approach

United Nations Member States adopted the 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development in 2015, providing a shared blueprint for peace and prosperity for people and the planet now and in the future. The 17 Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) form the core of this agenda, calling for urgent action in a global partnership with all developed and developing countries. These governments recognize that ending poverty and other deprivations must go hand in hand with strategies that improve health and education, reduce inequality and foster economic growth, all while tackling climate change and protecting our oceans and forests.

As a young and dynamic foundation University, TEDU emphasizes working in harmony with SDGs to tackle global challenges. In this context, TEDU has committed to reach the SDGs by taking a decision in the University Senate on 14 October 2021 in order to raise awareness on these issues in the university and in the local community.

According to its strategic plan, TEDU adheres to the main themes such as student-centered, innovative teaching and learning methods, liberal education-oriented. In doing so, TEDU aims to initiate new strategies in line with sustainable development goals.
