Water Footprint (ISO 14046)

Water footprint initiatives have been launched at our university to support the sustainable use of natural resources and to manage the environmental impacts of water consumption more effectively. The scope of this work includes analyzing campus-wide water consumption data, identifying areas with high water usage intensity, and uncovering opportunities to improve the efficiency of water resource utilization. These initiatives aim to measure the university's direct and indirect water consumption, assess the potential for water conservation, and develop strategies for sustainable water management. Based on the findings, plans are in place to implement measures that enhance water efficiency and contribute to environmental sustainability goals. Furthermore, these efforts will help raise awareness among university stakeholders regarding the conservation of water resources and encourage responsible consumption habits.
