The Sustainability Working Group, which was established with the decision of the University Senate on October 14, 2021, has started working!
The aim of the working group is to increase awareness of global, cultural and ecological issues such as sustainability, environmental policies, climate change, inequalities, and to take action on these issues within a participatory system at TEDU with the motto of "Sustainable TEDU" and in the axes of education, research, governance and contribution to society. It is to encourage taking steps that are oriented and turn into social benefits.
Founding team members are; Prof.Dr. Kezban Çelik (Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Department of Sociology), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Can Baran Aktaş (Faculty of Engineering, Department of Civil Engineering), Assoc.Prof.Dr. Ela Ataç Kavurmacı (Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of City and Regional Planning), Assist.Prof.Dr. Burze Yaşar (Faculty of Economics and Administrative Sciences, Department of Business Administration), Assist.Prof.Dr.Zerrin Toker (Faculty of Education, Department of Mathematics and Science Education), Dr. Murat Yıldız (Part time instructor at TEDU), Sinem Güravşar Gökçe (Coordinator of İstasyon TEDU), Merve Çetinkaya (TEDU Library Supervisor), Ekin Ersözlü (Student of Faculty of Architecture and Design, Department of City and Regional Planning), Şeyma Gülşen (Student of Faculty of Arts and Sciences, Mathematics Department).
