Zero Waste Day

As part of the International Day of Zero Waste on March 30, a short-term initiative is being implemented to raise awareness about waste management across the campus. Accordingly, during the week of March 30, individual waste bins in offices, workspaces, and educational and research areas will be temporarily removed, and the disposal of waste into the campus-wide dual-stream collection system (recyclables and general waste) will be encouraged. This initiative aims to strengthen individual waste-sorting habits, increase awareness regarding recycling, and foster a shared culture of environmental responsibility across the campus. It is intended that this small-scale behavioral shift will contribute to a more sustainable campus life in the long term.
