Efforts regarding the LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certification process are being carried out at our university to develop eco-friendly building and campus practices in line with our sustainable campus goals. In this context, current status analyses are conducted by evaluating criteria such as energy efficiency, water conservation, indoor environmental quality, the use of sustainable materials, waste management, and transportation. The LEED certification process aims to align campus infrastructure with international sustainability standards, ensure the efficient use of natural resources, and reduce environmental impacts. Furthermore, these initiatives seek to strengthen the university's sustainability performance, encourage environmentally conscious practices, and create healthier, more sustainable living spaces for students and staff. LEED certification is regarded as a significant step that reinforces our university's sustainability vision with concrete indicators.
